INSTRUCTIONS
Place a blank piece of paper on top of the MagicGrid, then use a pen or pencil to draw. While keeping your pen or pencil upright on the page, simply apply a little pressure as you draw to create perfectly straight lines. The grid pattern and scale numbers are visible through the paper, which also lets you create accurate, scaled drawings.
USER TIP
Relax your hand and let your pen or pencil lead you. Pick a starting point; pull the pen in the direction you wish to draw your vertical or horizontal lines.
FLOOR PLANS
During your site visit, using your MagicGrid create a floor plan on a clean sheet of paper using the ¼” = 1 foot scale. Be sure to capture and record all necessary information; ie. walls, windows, doors, dimensions, electrical , architectural items, etc.

Place your scaled MagicGrid floor plan onto the magnetic grid that is included with The Board™ products. Hold the plan in place with the supplied magnetic corners and experiment with use of space and furniture layouts with the magnetic furniture symbols.
